Rope Edition
The second edition in the series is Rope. The design of the bottle depicts the ropes of Puffer Boats that would carry sherry casks to our stretch of shore, a theme that’s reflected in this remarkable sherry-matured whisky, with a flavour profile that perfectly balances the influence of these casks with our signature peat.
Strong Characters: Chapter 1
This is the first chapter in a series of whiskies, all about celebrating those who have shaped Laphroaig.
Volume 1 tells the story of Donald Johnston, the older of two brothers who founded the Laphroaig distillery in 1815 and created the iconic Laphroaig whisky we all know today. Their bold venture is brought to life through illustrations by award-winning British artist Bill Bragg, which adorn the packaging and accompanying booklet.
