Dugald Johnston inherited far more than a distillery. He took on the responsibility of keeping Laphroaig moving after the loss of his father, Donald. His place in our history goes beyond a family name. It is part of the brave, steadfast and determined spirit that still defines us today. A way of doing things that reminds us Laphroaig has always been, above all, a story of people.
