Those members that have a balance of reward points can now use them to save on Laphroaig purchases, but only until 1st April 2021.
Your points can be used to buy discount vouchers, up to the value of €100, which can be used when purchasing Laphroaig products, by entering the code at the checkout.
Vouchers are subject to a minimum spend and only apply to the price excluding tax.

1. Login to your account.

Using your username and password

2. Select which discount voucher you would like, add to your cart and checkout.

There are 3 options: €5, €10, €20

3. Confirm your purchase and copy the discount code.

After you purchase your discount voucher, you will be sent a code. This will also in the 'My Coupons' section of your account.

4. Add items to your cart in the Shop.

In the checkout section, add your discount code to the 'Coupon Code' section

5. Enjoy your Laphroaig.

Frequently asked questions

CAN VOUCHERS BE PURCHASED WITH ANY PAYMENT METHOD OTHER THAN MEMBERSHIP POINTS?

Discount vouchers can only be purchased using membership points, they cannot be purchased in any other way or with currency. They must be purchased using points only and not a combination of points and currency. The vouchers can only be used for items purchased at the Webstore at Laphroaig.com.

 

WHAT IF I DON'T HAVE ENOUGH POINTS TO GET A VOUCHER?

Don't worry, you still won't lose your points. Although you will not be able to purchase the discount vouchers, you can still redeem your points for exclusive merchandising products until April 2021. Further information will be sent to all Friends of Laphroaig in an email in the near future.

 

CAN I BUY MORE THAN ONE VOUCHER?

Yes, you can purchase as many different vouchers as you like as long as you have sufficient points to purchase them with.

 

CAN I SEND MY DISCOUNT TO A FRIEND?

Yes, but the discount voucher codes are for one-time use and once applied to an order, they cannot be re-applied to another order. You can gift the voucher to a friend, but you cannot share it.

 

WHERE CAN I FIND THE PRICE BEFORE & AFTER TAX?

It is important that you have selected the correct country to which your goods will be sent, as this will vary between country. You will be able to amend this on the product page of the item you are viewing at Laphroaig.com. You will be able to see the price of your item including and excluding VAT, and then again you will be shown the total price of your whole order including and excluding VAT if you select the shopping cart to review your whole combined order.

DO THE VOUCHERS HAVE AN EXPIRY DATE?

The voucher will not be redeemable after it’s expiry date, which is one calendar month after it was created. Friends may create voucher codes until March 31st 2021.

 

WHAT DOES “SUBJECT TO MINIMUM PURCHASE ORDER” MEAN?

Each voucher has a stipulation, which means the discount can only be applied to a total purchase above a certain amount. For example, if you purchase a voucher for £5 which is subject to a minimum purchase order of £25 (excluding VAT), you will need to have at least a combined value of £25 worth of items in your cart in order to become able to apply your discount code.

 

HOW MUCH TIME WILL I HAVE TO SPEND MY VOUCHER ONCE IT HAS BEEN PURCHASED?

You will have one calendar month to spend your voucher from the date that it was created.

 

WHAT IF I REDEEMED THE POINTS BUT NEVER RECEIVED THE DISCOUNT CODE?

Once you have spent your points and created your voucher you’ll receive an email giving you the full details of your purchase. You will also be able to see your vouchers in the ‘My Coupons’ tab in the login area at Laphroaig.com. If you have not received this email please first check your junk inbox, and if you are still unable to find the details of your voucher please create a support ticket for us using the contact form at Laphroaig.com.

 

CAN I STILL EARN MEMBERSHIP POINTS?

No, this feature has been disabled since September 2020. Your leftover points will be used to place you in a new tiered system that will come in to effect in April 2021. Although we don’t have all the final details of the new programme currently, all Friends of Laphroaig will be sent an email in the near future to outline exactly what the benefits are of being in the different tiers of the new system.
