Silent Season and Maintenance Periods

Producing our complex and characterful Laphroaig Single Malt is a labour of love. Like many distilleries, Laphroaig isn't in production every day of the year, with planned maintenance taking place annually.

From the 8th of July to the 13th of  September 2026, the distillery will be in its planned silent season. During this time, access to the production areas will not be available as part of our visitor experiences.

Our experiences will be adapted during this period to ensure you still enjoy an engaging and memorable visit, with the opportunity to discover Laphroaig's rich history, heritage and whisky-making story.

Accessibility

Due to Laphroaig being a historical building, some Experiences may not be fully accessible for people with limited mobility, as they may include some stairs. Please let us know at the time of your booking if you have limited mobility. Upon request, we can offer a full sensory Experience as an enjoyable alternative for you.
