Islay is an island you can walk across in a day. Somehow, a piece of it had gone missing.
Then came Warehouse No. 1.
A Mystery Two Centuries in the Making
A missing plot. A forgotten piece of the 1815 deeds. And something found inside Warehouse No. 1 that's raised more questions than it answers.

Our Mystery Box gives you the opportunity to receive one bottle of Laphroaig whisky, randomly selected from a specially curated collection of expressions, including limited editions and some of our rarest releases.
Every Mystery Box is available at a fixed price, with each bottle having a recommended retail price (RRP) higher than the price you pay.
The exciting part? You won't know which expression you've received until you open your Mystery Box.
Our Mystery Box collection features 15 different Laphroaig expressions, ranging from much-loved favourites to exceptionally rare and limited-edition releases.
The collection includes Laphroaig 15 Year Old, Cairdeas releases from 2024, 2025 and 2026, Elements editions, and some of our most sought-after aged expressions, including The Wall 39 Year Old.

Every Mystery Box contains one bottle randomly selected from this collection, subject to availability.
Every Mystery Box is allocated a bottle through an automated random selection system, specially developed for this promotion.
Once your purchase has been successfully completed, the system randomly selects one bottle from the remaining available promotional stock.
The selection process is designed to be fair, with no preferential treatment given to individual customers.
The bottle you receive is entirely down to the random allocation process, adding an extra element of excitement to your Laphroaig experience.
Yes. Every Mystery Box is guaranteed to contain a bottle with a stated recommended retail price (RRP) higher than the price you pay.
The collection includes expressions across a wide range of RRPs, meaning you could receive anything from one of our much-loved releases to an exceptionally rare bottle.

No. The mystery is all part of the experience!
Each bottle is randomly allocated from the available collection, so it isn't possible to select or request a particular expression.
Your allocated bottle will be a surprise until you open your Mystery Box.
The allocation prioritises different products, but duplicates are eventually possible if there aren’t enough distinct products available. For example, if a customer orders 3 Mystery Boxes and we only 2 different products available, one of them can be allocated twice."
You can purchase a maximum of three Mystery Boxes per person throughout the promotion, subject to availability.
This limit applies across all purchases, even if you place separate orders or use different accounts, email addresses or delivery addresses.
Yes. As each Mystery Box is allocated independently through a random selection process, it is possible to receive the same expression in more than one box.
Purchasing multiple Mystery Boxes does not guarantee that you will receive different bottles.
No, that's all part of the fun.
Your bottle will arrive in a specially designed shipping container created exclusively for the promotion (subject to availability), keeping the identity of your Laphroaig expression a surprise until you open it.
Your Mystery Box will be dispatched through our authorised delivery partners. Due to the volumes involved, please allow 5-7 working days for dispatch.
Our usual delivery charges, restrictions and terms apply unless otherwise stated on the Mystery Box product page.
Unfortunately, we're unable to exchange your allocated bottle for a different expression from the Mystery Box collection.
As each bottle is randomly selected, we cannot accommodate requests for a particular expression or offer exchanges based on personal preference.
This does not affect your statutory cancellation rights or your rights if your order arrives damaged or faulty.
While we hope you'll enjoy the surprise of discovering your mystery Laphroaig expression, we understand that you may wish to return your purchase.
You have the right to cancel your online purchase within 14 days of receiving your Mystery Box, in accordance with applicable consumer law.
Returns are subject to our returns procedure and your statutory rights. Please note that handling the goods beyond what is necessary to inspect them may result in a deduction from your refund, where permitted by law.
Any refund will be based on the amount you originally paid for your Mystery Box, rather than the recommended retail price of the bottle received.

Yes! Each mystery box is worth 200 points, no matter what is inside.
Most orders will arrive in our exclusive Lost Plot Mystery Box packaging. However, some expressions are simply too special to leave behind. PX Cask, Elements 2.0, Elements 3.0, 30 Year Old, Strong Characters Chapter 1, The Ian Hunter Story – Book 5: Enduring Spirit, The Archive Collection – 38 Year Old, and The Wall Collection – Rope Edition will arrive in their original packaging instead.
