An extremely rare single cask whisky
Picked and named by Friends of Laphroaig
What do you call an extremely rare single cask whisky with a bold, distinctively Laphroaig character?
You can stop wracking your brains for the punchline, because this is no joke. As many of you will know, it’s a real question we put to our Friends of Laphroaig community earlier this year – and we were only too serious about making sure it came true.
A wise and inspired choice
To understand the full story of this mysterious new release – which we can now announce is coming soon – we need to go back to when we’d posed a different question to our Friends. That more fundamental question was simply; would you like a bespoke and exclusive single cask release?
You won’t be surprised to hear that the answer to that one was yes. After that, things only got more exciting when we put another question to our community. Which finish would you like to see?
The full power of the Friends of Laphroaig community’s hive mind was brought to bear and the eventual answer was a resounding one. We can’t tell you what it was yet, but suffice to say it was a wise and inspired choice – as was the name that was selected as a clear favourite.
A very special high limited edition
In a nutshell, a single cask whisky picked and named by Friends of Laphroaig, and one that’s every bit as excellent as you’d expect from such a venture, is now officially on the way. We can’t wait to reveal everything there is to know about this special new, incredibly rare release.
With only a very limited number of bottles made from this single cask – a whisky that will never be repeated – the countdown to the reveal is on. There isn’t too long to wait now – access to pre-order will open on Monday at 12pm (Islay time) and end on Thursday 30th October at 12pm (Islay time, which will be Greenwich Mean Time).
Until then, stay tuned to our social media pages, as well as our newsletter and website, to keep up-to-date with the latest news.
