Friends of Laphroaig Sweepstakes Competition Terms & Conditions

Summary 

To reward loyalty, members of the Friends of Laphroaig® programme will have a chance to win a Laphroaig bottle. 

To win you must be registered as a Friend of Laphroaig then click on the “enter sweepstakes” button in the Friends of Laphroaig section of the Laphroaig website by 30^th  December 2025. 

One winners will be selected to win a Laphroaig water bottle.

Terms & Conditions 

By entering the [Friends of Laphroaig January Sweepstakes], you accept and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions: 

1. The competition is run by Beam Suntory UK Limited (“we” and “us”) (Company Number 05591988); our registered office is at 44-45 Great Malborough Street, 5^th Floor, London, United Kingdom, W1F 7JL. 
2. The competition is open only to entrants who (1) are of at least the minimum legal age to purchase alcoholic beverages in the territory where they are resident and not under any circumstances aged under 18 years and (2) are not resident in any territory referred to in paragraph 8 below and (3) registered as a Friend of Laphroaig. Proof of age and residence and that you are eligible to enter the competition may be required. 
3. Prize: One Laphroaig water bottle. No cash or other alternative prizes are available. 

4. To enter you must: be registered as a Friend of Laphroaig then click on the “enter sweepstakes” button in the Friends of Laphroaig section of the Laphroaig website. All valid completed entries received by us will be automatically entered for the completion. 

5. There is no alternative method of entry. There is no entry fee, and no purchase is necessary to enter this competition. 
6. Only one entry per person is permitted. No multiple entries will be accepted. Bulk or third party or computer or automatically generated entries will not be accepted. Entries will be deemed made only by the person who completes and submits the entry. Joint entries are not permitted. 
7. Our employees and their immediate families, our agents or anyone else professionally connected with us or the competition shall not be permitted to enter.   
8. This competition excludes entrants from countries where it is not legal to consume, purchase or deliver alcoholic beverages. 
9. All completed entries must be received by 23:59 GMT on 30^th October 2025 which is the final day of the competition. After this date, no further entries to the competition will be permitted and late entries are automatically disqualified. We will not accept responsibility for entries that are late, lost, mislaid, damaged or delayed in transit, regardless of cause, (including, for example, as a result of any postal failure, equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind) nor will we accept proof of posting or transmission as proof of receipt of entry to the competition. 
10. All valid entries will be entered into a prize draw and the first entry will be selected at random. Winners will be contacted via email within around 14 days of the competition closing. We have full discretion and our decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into in this regard. 
11. We will use reasonable endeavours to contact the winner via email. If the winner does not reply or contact us to claim their prize within 7 days of our initial contact, a new winner will be selected. We do not accept any responsibility if you are not able to take up any prize. 
12. We may require proof of age and residence as a condition of any winner claiming their prize or delivery of their prize. 
13. By entering the competition, entrants agree that their entry and all intellectual property in their entry or any other responses they have submitted belongs to and can be used by us for business purposes. These can be used solely at our discretion but includes the right to publish entries on our social media channels. Entrants agree to sign any legal documentation transferring their rights in said intellectual property to us on our request. 
14. By entering the competition entrants agree that their personal data submitted as part of their entry will be stored and processed by us as data controller in accordance with applicable data protection laws. Entrants agree that such data may be used by us and our processors for the purposes of business analysis, the administration of this competition, to contact the winners of the competition and for publicity purposes as stated below and that winners’ names [but no other details] will be provided to third parties on request, as per our privacy policy which can be found here https://www.beamsuntory.com/index.php/en/privacy-policy. A request to access, update or correct any information should be directed to us at privacy@beamsuntory.com. We shall not otherwise share entrants’ personal data with any third parties. We will only hold entrants’ personal data for as long as we do the activities referred to in this paragraph or have a valid reason to keep it. [We will either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation we will publish the name and town of residence of winners and, if applicable, their winning entries on Laphroaig.com or send the name and town of residence of winners and, if applicable copies of their winning entries, to anyone who contacts us via https://www.laphroaig.com/contact-us within one month after the closing date of the competition. If you object to any or all of your name, town and winning entry being published or made available, please contact us. In such circumstances, we must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request. 
15. We reserve the right to withdraw, amend or temporarily suspend the competition in our absolute discretion, provided that we shall not exercise this right unreasonably.  We reserve all rights to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the competition. If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these Terms & Conditions, we may, at our sole discretion, reserve the right to disqualify you and exclude you from participating in the competition. 
16. Neither we nor our agents accept responsibility for any technical or other difficulties experienced in participating in this competition. 
17. Insofar as is permitted by law, neither we nor our employees, agents and representatives accept responsibility for any loss, damage or injury incurred by a winner (or anyone else) as a result of redemption of their prize or entering this competition. Your statutory rights are not affected. 
18. This competition and these Terms & Conditions are governed by English law. If any entrants wish to take court proceedings, then they must do this within the courts in the United Kingdom.
