• WHAT IS "FRIENDS OF LAPHROAIG" AND CAN I JOIN?

  Friends of Laphroaig is our loyalty programme that’s designed to reward our loyal fans with a variety of great benefits and keep them up to date with the latest news direct from our distillery on Islay. You can join by signing up here www.laphroaig.com/create-account

• WHAT WILL I GET ACCESS TO?

  Simply by signing up, you get access to a range of experiences like invites to our Laphroaig Live virtual events, as well as access to buy exclusive whisky products (including our annual Càirdeas release) on Laphroaig.com, regular newsletters direct from the distillery (be sure to opt-in!), and your very own honorary square foot plot on Islay (with bottle purchase or distillery tour).

• HOW DO I ACCESS MEMBER-EXCLUSIVE PRODUCTS LIKE CÀIRDEAS?

  When you visit Laphroaig.com, make sure you’re logged in to your Friends of Laphroaig account to add member-exclusive products to your cart. Please note, exclusive releases are produced in limited quantities and may not be available at all times.

• WHY IS MY EXPERIENCE DIFFERENT THAN MY FRIEND'S?

  The Friends of Laphroaig site is customised to you based on your points balance and location. We are continually looking to enable rewards for as many countries as possible, as well as adding new rewards over time.

• HOW DO I GET MY PLOT OF LAND ON ISLAY?

  You will receive your plot after entering your first unique code in the 'MY PLOT' section of your profile. Once activated you will be able to see your plot number and geo-coordinates, view it's location on the map and download your plot certificate.

• HOW MANY PLOTS CAN I HAVE?

  Friends are entitled to claim one plot.. You will receive your plot after entering your first product code or completing your first distillery experience.

• DOES MY PLOT EXPIRE?

  Plots are valid whilst your account is active. Accounts are reviewed in line with EU GDPR requirements, so we recommend accessing your account regulatrly to keep it active.

• HOW DO I GET MY CERTIFICATE?

  You can view your plot, get the GPS coordinates and download your plot certificate by logging into your Friends of Laphroaig account and clicking on ‘MY PLOT’.

• CAN I TRANSER MY POINTS TO A FRIEND/FAMILY MEMBER?

  We are not able to transfer your points because these points are rewarded for purchases. We cannot give them to someone else, as it wouldn’t be fair to our other loyal customers who have earned all their rewards through purchases.

• CAN I BUILD ON MY PLOT?

  No. The plots are owned by Laphroaig and are part of the working distillery. You can visit your plot and collect your 'rent' which is a free dram!

• WILL I BECOME A LORD WITH MY PLOT?

  We are asked this question a lot, and although we’re not in the business of ensuring you can officially use your plot to give yourself the title of Lord or Laird, as far as we're concerned,you're more than welcome to use it casually!

• HOW DO I COLLECT POINTS?

  Points for bottles purchased through Laphroaig.com will be automatically added to your account but you can also collect points for every Laphroaig purchase at a store or online retailer that you make by Entering your bottle's unique code. This can be found either on your bottle's back label under the heading 'Friends of Laphroaig Code' or in the passport included in tube packaging. Uploading a photo of your receipt in the member's section of the site and submitting.  
  The following reward points will then be credited to your account:  
  100 points for a bottle of Laphroaig 10 or Oak Select.  
  200 points for most other bottles, including Cask Strength and Càirdeas.  
  500 points for 25 years or older bottles.  
  You can also earn points for:  
  Distillery visits (200 points when booking a tour).  
  Referring a friend (25 points).  
  Event attendance, live or virtual (25 points).  
  Online polls and quizzes (20 points). 

• HOW DO I REDEEM MY POINTS FOR REWARDS?

  Points don’t need to be redeemed or ‘spent’ to access a reward; you just need to ensure you have the required points balance to be able to access the reward you want. Points are valid for 12 months from the date they are earned.

• HOW MANY POINTS DO I NEED TO COLLECT FOR EACH REWARD?

  · Monthly sweepstakes (50 points) – each month we will offer Friends a must have prize shared  
  by email and accessed through the Sweepstakes Rewards tile on the website.  
  · Free engraving on Laphroaig.com (250 points)* – Friends can add a special touch with free  
  engraving when buying on Laphroaig.com.  
  · Early access (350 points) - Friends will be the first to hear about ticketed events and new  
  product releases and will have the opportunity to sign up and buy ahead of other Friends and the  
  public.  
  · Virtual Masterclass (500 points) – Friends will be invited to attend a special masterclass featuring  
  unique products and stories from the distillery – up to four times a year.  
  · Free shipping (600 points)** - Free shipping on all bottle purchases from Laphroaig.com.  
   

  *Reward available to Friends in Australia, Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark,  
  Estonia, Finland, France, Guernsey, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Jersey, Latvia, Lithuania,  
  Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Singapore, Slovenia, South Korea, Switzerland, Taiwan and the  
  United Kingdom.  
  **Reward available to Friends in UK & Germany only. More markets to be added in due course.  

• DO MY POINTS EXPIRE?

  Points expire on a rolling, 12-month basis so be sure to keep track of your points balance.

• WHERE’S MY CODE?

  Your bottle's unique code can be found either on your bottle's back label where it says “Friends  of Laphroaig Code” or in the passport included in tube packaging.

• HOW DO I UPLOAD MY RECEIPT TO COLLECT REWARD POINTS?

  After you have logged in, look for the “Earn Points” section and click the solid green button  
  under “Scan Your Receipt. You can then upload a photo of your Laphroaig receipt so that you  
  can collect points for your purchase. Make sure the photo:  

  
  · Shows the receipt clearly, is well lit and in focus.  
  · Clearly shows the order date and total amount.  
  · Clearly shows the receipt number and Laphroaig product details.  
  · Is under 6MB in file size.  
  · Is a JPG, JPEG, PNG or PDF format.  
  · Without these things, it may be rejected.  

  
  For online purchases, please take a screengrab of your order summary page and submit as above. 

• WHAT IF I DON'T HAVE MY RECEIPT ANYMORE?

  You can enter the unique number from the passort in your bottle's tube packaging or on your bottle's back label under the heading 'Friends of Laphroaig Code'.

• CAN I GET POINTS FOR PURCHASING LAPHROAIG IN A BAR?

  No. Points for purchase are for 700ml and above bottles only.

• CAN I GET POINTS FOR PURCHASING LAPHROAIG MERCHANDISE?

  No. Points for purchase are for 700ml and above bottles only.
