Laphroaig Face Prize Draw Terms & Conditions

 

To win a bottle of Laphroaig 10 Year Old:

  1. Take it {a photo that captures your reaction of tasting Laphroaig at one of our Birmingham events}
  2. Tag it {@Laphroaig #LaphroaigFace}
  3. Post it {on Instagram, public profile so we can see it}

 

Open only to entrants aged 18+ in the UK who have attended one of the promotional events detailed below. Promotion runs over selected dates between 7th September 2018 and 21st September 2018. 12 prizes are available, 4 per event night.

Prize: One bottle of Laphroaig 10 Year Old per winning entrant.

To enter: Using Instagram, take a picture at the event, tag @Laphroaig in the image and use the hashtag #LaphroaigFace. Instagram profiles must be public to ensure your entry is visible. No other means of entry is available. One entry per person.

By entering the Laphroaig Face UK competition, you accept the following terms and conditions.

FULL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

“The Promoter” is Edrington-Beam Suntory UK Distribution Limited (‘Edrington-Beam Suntory UK’) a company registered in Scotland (number SC203623). Our registered office is at Castle Business Park, Stirling, FK9 4RT.

  1. The prize draw is open to any person who is a UK resident aged 18 years and over who has attended one of the participating promotional events detailed below. Employees of the Promoter and their immediate families, agents of the Promoter or anyone else professionally connected with the promotion shall not be permitted to enter.
  2. Participating promotional events are as follows:

  3. To enter the competition to win a bottle of Laphroaig 10 Year Old, take a picture that captures your reaction of tasting Laphroaig at one of the selected promotional events. Entrants must post this picture on Instagram using the hashtag #LaphroaigFace and tag @Laphroaig in the image. Profiles must be public in order to track entries. There is no alternative method of entry.
  4. Submission pictures must only include a picture of the entrant.
  5. By submitting a photo in the contest, entrants are assigning all of their rights of the photo to the promoter, such that they can use the photo without restrictions.
  6. Submissions should not contain any material that may infringe on the intellectual property rights of any third party, including but not limited to, copyrights or trademarks owned by others.
  7. No multiple entries will be accepted. Bulk or third party entries will not be accepted. All entries must be received by 23:59 on the final day of the event. Entrants agree to be bound in full by these Terms and all applicable rules.
  8. Closing dates for each event is as follows:
    • Friday 7th September – 23:59
    • Saturday 8th September – 23:59
    • Friday 14th September – 23:59
    • Saturday 15th September – 23.59
    • Friday 21st September – 23.59
  9. There are 12 prizes to be won across 3 prize draws. Open to UK residents aged 18 or over only.
  10. All valid entries will be entered into a prize draw and the winners will be randomly selected by representatives from the Promoter’s brand team. Winners will be contacted via Instagram within 72hrs of the competition closing. All reasonable effort will be made to contact each winner, however, if a winner has not responded to the Promoter’s correspondence within 7 days of the initial contact then an alternative winner may be selected. The Promoter has full discretion when applying these Terms and its decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into in this regard.
  11. No cash or other alternative prizes are available, except in the event where, due to circumstances outside of its control, the Promoter must provide alternative similar prizes of equal or greater value. The Promoter reserves all its rights in this regard and entrants acknowledge that they are bound to accept an alternative prize offered to them and are not entitled to make any claim against the Promoter.
  12. The Prize is: One bottle of Laphroaig 10 Year Old per winning entrant.
  13. By entering the promotion, all entrants give full consent to the transfer of their names, images, likenesses and personal data to the Promoter for the purposes of the administration of this promotion and any other purposes to which the entrant has consented. Entry details will be retained by the Promoter until completion of the promotion (including post promotion publicity) when data will then be deleted. The Promoter shall not share entrants’ personal data with any third parties.
  14. The winner may be required to participate in publicity related to the promotion as requested by the Promoter and it is a condition of entry that entrants give their full consent to their names, images and likenesses being made public and advertised if they win.
  15. The Promoter reserves the right to withdraw, amend or temporarily suspend the competition in its absolute discretion, provided that it shall not exercise this right unreasonably.
  16. The Promoter and its agents accept no responsibility for any difficulties experienced in participating in this competition.
  17. The Promoter and its employees, agents and representatives accept no responsibility for any loss, damage or injury incurred by a winner (or a winner’s companion) as a result of redemption of their prize.
  18. This promotion and its Terms are governed by Scots Law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish Courts.
