Our storied tradition of distilling wouldn’t exist without a little imagination. Now the remarkably smooth Laphroaig® Four Oak is blazing a trail of its own. For this unique bottling we hand-selected a blend of single malts from ex-Bourbon barrels, 19th Century-style quarter casks and European oak hogsheads for a velvety texture. With the rare addition of whisky aged in virgin American oak – layering sweet aromas of vanilla to our renowned flavours of medicinal peat smoke and seaweed. Pour neat, over ice or with a dash of chilled water – and raise a glass to celebrate fresh ideas of your own.

TASTING NOTES
Colour
Bright gold. Imbued from four varieties of oak.
Nose
Bold peat smoke with notes of stewed fruit and warm, toasted vanilla.
Palate
Peat smoke and oak embers with hints of seaweed, pine and smooth buttercream.
Finish
Lingering peat smoke with hints of salty liquorice.
Maturation
Aged in ex-Bourbon barrels, 19th Century-style quarter casks, European oak hogsheads and new American oak.

Best Duty-free Pause Ever!

We were intrigued by the name, especially since we tried in vain to buy Triple Wood in Quebec. This bottle did not disappoint -- a lovely bouquet of flavours and a gentle, long-lasting peaty finish.

It's different and smooth But my preference is the 10 year

?? Laphroaig and have for Years FOUR OAK is an interesting expression and a decent introduction to Laphroaig for beginners. Nothing beats the Smack you in the face experience of Laphroaig 10 Year
