Things to note
Everybody at the distillery hopes you enjoy our Open Day so please have a look at our notes below to help you plan:
Welcome To Our Open Day
This year you will be welcomed to Laphroaig by one of our Feis team who will provide you with an information pack and answer any questions you have on how to plan your day. Your pack will include a tasting glass – please make sure you have this with you throughout the day.
All our OPEN DAY events on the 30th May will be ticketed. Tickets must be collected ahead of the event you have booked and presented to access individual events. Pre-booked tickets will be available for collection from Saturday, 20th May. We recommend that you collect them from the visitor centre ahead of time to avoid queueing on the open day.
On the Day tickets will be available on the Laphroaig Tasting Trio selections and Distillery Tours. These will be sold on a first come first served basis.
You will be given a festival lanyard on entry to the distillery. These lanyards contain three tokens which can be exchanged for drams by the peat shed. To taste more, book yourself onto one of the Trio Tastings, or pay by the dram at our bar in the Friends of Laphroaig Lounge.
Parking on site is limited. So, if you can, please arrive without a vehicle. There is a pathway from Port Ellen that starts from the Primary School – a brisk 20-minute walk will bring you to Laphroaig.
